Get Connected

The desire for meaningful relationships and community is part of our design – our groups are thoughtfully arranged to create opportunities where people can connect, build relationships, grow together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life.

Use link below to fill out a quick form, and we’ll connect you with a group in your area!

Why

Small groups create unique opportunities for people to connect and share experiences, interests, and perspectives in a casual setting.

Who

Our groups are open to anyone in any life stage and will generally have 7-14 Adults (plus some kids).

Where

We have groups that meet in Monument & Colorado Springs.

When

Most groups meet twice per month, some meet every week – each group determines what works best for them.

FAQs

Are these groups just for families?

You can join a group by yourself or with other members of your biological or adoptive family, you can even bring a friend – our groups are multi-generational, so anyone in any life stage is encouraged to join a group. We believe there’s tremendous value in sharing experiences, wisdom, and perspectives across generations, so if you’re young or not so young, married or single, if you have kids or you don’t have kids, even if you like cats but not dogs, join a group and grow with us!

How far will I have to drive to be part of a group?

When you sign up for a group, you can indicate the distance you would be willing to travel to participate in small group gatherings/activities. We will do our best to connect you with a group within your preferred distance.

I'm already in a group, do I need to sign up again?

We’re asking everyone interested in being part of a group to fill out our new sign up form. You can use the form to let us know if you’d like to join a group, host, lead/co-lead a group, and how far you’re willing to travel to participate in gatherings/activities.

The new structure creates opportunities for more people to be part of a group and more geographical areas for groups to meet (limiting the distance to travel), while maintaining a “small group” size.

We rotate groups by semester, so you’ll have the opportunity to be part of two different groups each year.

  • The fall semester is from the last Sunday in August through the first Sunday in December
  • The Spring semester is from the last Sunday in January through the first Sunday of May

Will I always be in the same group?

Will there be food provided when groups meet?

Each group has the flexibility to decide what they will do if they meet during a meal time, and group leaders and hosts will communicate the details before the meeting – here are a few possible formats:

  • Potluck
    • Individuals bring food to share
  • Host Provides Main Dish
    • Individuals bring a side, dessert, condiments, drinks, etc. to share
  • On Your Own
    • Individuals bring food for themselves (takeout or sack lunch)
  • Eat Out
    • Meet at a restaurant or establishment with food for purchase

Some groups may switch it up and alternate if/how meals are done within their group from week to week.

What's involved in hosting a group?

Hosting a group is a mixture of communication, planning, and hospitality.

Hosts will partner with the group leader(s) and the group members to plan and communicate where the group will meet (in the host’s home or elsewhere) and what the group will do for the meal (if applicable) – here are a few possible formats:

  • Potluck
    • Individuals bring food to share
  • Host Provides Main Dish
    • Individuals bring a side, dessert, condiments, drinks, etc. to share
  • On Your Own
    • Individuals bring food for themselves (takeout or sack lunch)

What's involved in leading a group?

Group leaders/co-leaders select the topic of study, passage of scripture, book, or video series and facilitate study/discussion times during group meetings. Additionally, group leaders partner with the hosts to set up a format and schedule.

Leaders invite participation, inspire growth, and encourage accountability.
