FAQs

Do I have to stay both nights?

No, you can spend one night, two nights, or just join us Saturday. (When registering, you can specify any nights and/or meals you will be present for – just let us know asap if anything changes after registering)

Do I need to bring towels, sheets, etc.?

Yes, please bring towels, a pillow, sheets and a blanket (or a sleeping bag) for a twin-size bunk.

What do I need to bring?

Any personal items and toiletries you require, a bath towel, a pillow & bedding for a twin-size bunk, a Bible, notebook, flashlight, water bottle, and anything else you might want to have for the free time on Saturday.

Will I have my own room?

We will be staying in the “Tumbleweed Building” which consists of two bunk rooms (each room has ~7 twin-size bunks – 14 beds / 28 total), two bathrooms, and a common area (there is a refrigerator in the common area).

What if I require a special diet?

The retreat center has a salad bar at lunch and dinner. They usually have gluten-free options, bread, etc., but if you have other special restrictions, you might want to bring some of your own food to supplement the food provided.

Is there coffee?

Snacks and water will be provided. Coffee, tea, soda, juice etc. are available in the dining hall. Ponderosa’s coffee bar and snack shack will also be open limited hours on Saturday. Feel free to bring any special snacks/drinks if you desire.
